OUR MISSION
We gather women together to share a meal, build friendships, and support charitable causes that are unique to each community. Together, we elevate consciousness about local challenges and provide funding to 501(c)3 organizations that are non-political, secular, and serve each chapter’s county.

WHY 501(c)3?
A 501(c)3 is a type of nonprofit recognized by the IRS which regulates each non-profit to ensure resources are strictly used for the charitable work of the organization and not private gain. This is why GAPs requires each charity is a 501(c)3 - to guarantee your donation is used as you expect.
Of the 29 different types of 501(c)3 organizations recognized by the US government, only donations to 501(c)3 organizations are tax-deductible.
WHY SECULAR AND NONPOLITICAL?
GAPs focuses on raising funds exclusively for secular and nonpolitical organizations because we believe in fostering inclusivity and unity among our diverse members. By supporting causes free from religious or political affiliations, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their personal beliefs or political views, feels welcome to participate and contribute. This approach allows us to concentrate on common values and shared goals, creating a collective impact that transcends individual differences.
